Default Yellow Anaconda or Scrub python?

If you had to chose between owning a yellow anaconda or a scub python, which one would you choose and why?

Scrub everytime.......much prettier snake IMO. Especially loving the bar-necks. I generally think 'condas are ugly (especially when adult)

All I can say is that I hope you have the knowledge/experience behind you to deal with snakes like these!!!

I already have a yellow, I also have an adult Burm and have done or a while, I don't plan on getting any snakes for a good while though!

I just wanted to know what everyone else thought, the two snakes generally have a similar temperament. Anacondas seem to have a bad rep!!!

That's fair enough then. I went to college with someone who got a yellow as his first snake (read IDIOT lol) I told him it'd never tame and it was a bad idea, and it never did so he got rid of it lol. Personally I prefer the greens but when they're big the head puts me off. One of those faces that "only a mother could love".

I love the scrubs and one day I'll get a bar-neck, but not until I move somewhere else and have more room to house one properly.

no question - scrubs every time.

I couldn't cope with a snake that size though.
