Default hope this helps

with front line get a cloth and spray the cloth with 1 spray per foot of the snake then keep it in your hands as it is really cold then from the neck of the snake put the cloth round him and wipe down to the tail ,then do it again if needed in a fortnights time but you can do the same to the viv .
hope this helps you. dont buy the shops mite off spray this doesnt work .
you can put him in a tub for a month with a heat mat for heat ,keep checking the temp.with 1 water bowl hide and newspaper/white card ,you can then see any mites in the tub and you will see when he is getting clear of them .never try to pull the mites off .while hes in a tub you can spend time making sure you have no mites in there viv,or the snake will get them back.also leave him in a tub of nice warm water with the lid on and you will see the mites come of the snake after a while .any more help just ask

i would follow this advice. this is similar to what i have done with mite problems.
don't know if its been mentioned but repeat evry 5-7 days to beat the lifecycle of the mites for at leat 3 weeks, otherwise you'll have mite eggs hatching from the little cracks you couldn't clean and they'll never go! this is the most important aspect in beating mites

Exclamation mites

right this is what i think you need to do even if you only see 1 in the water bowl ;-
*take everything out ur tank and clean it very well from top to bottom inside and out with a boiling hot water and tcp about 4 pints to 1 cap of tcp.and dont forget the ater bowl too.

* then cover with bottom with news paper

*get a large tub and fill half full with veg oil

*but your snake in it make sure it is totally covered in oil make it stay in it for 5 -10 mins

* put your snake back in the tank

* repeat this every 3 days for 2 weeks.
please belive me if there is 1 mite in the tank then within a couple of weeks there will be hundreds trust me. mite eggs can come in the bark etc and lay doorment untill in a warm moist viv.
this should work the oil thing is a trade nac pluss its cheap and works better than anything else.
