Seriously guys.
For those of us who have been. What can we collectively do to sort this situation out? This place makes me sick.

Surely it is the local authority who issue a PSL and is that not assessed yearly?
I agree, something should be done and if people are serious about doing something then lets have some suggestions. As for the technicalities: - How can multiple businesses on one premises make a difference to the conditions one can keep the animals in? - Does anybody know the technicalities of this area of the law or is at least able to point me in the correct direction to view the rules and regulations that surround it as starting from scratch will be time consuming. |

IMO all you can do is report them to health & safety, trading standards, local council they need a licence to keep shop open. Then call RSPCA & any other animal agency you can think of. The only way to close these people down is by word of mouth, if you know or see anyone go in there advise them that the reptiles are kept in poor condition, the owner doesnt know his snake from a midget gem, and that everything in there is illegal ie: wrong signs dead reptiles etc.....
Looks like people are buying from them otherwise they wouldnt be able to stay open. Would you go to a restaurant & pay for grotty food with used cat litter on it. Start a petition thats legal & get as many as you can to sign it. You can stand at the corner of the road & ask people to sign it, so long as youre not directly outside the shop then it can be deamed as illegal. Good luck. Its places like that, that give reptiles bad names. ![]() |
