can anybody please tell me how long "Red sided garter snakes" live for and what size an adult is on avarage?

i dont know about average age, but mine is around 3 yrs, had him for 2 yrs. and about 3 1/2 foot. hope it gives you an idea mate.

I'm led to believe that they can live to anything from 10 to 15 years, and an adult is usually 3-4 feet long. They reach maturity at something like 3 years, I think.

Garters live for around 8-10 years. As a general rule, smaller, more active species generally have a shorter life span than the bigger, more lethargic species.
