Default Help ease my mind!...........

Right - I just want a simple answer - do you hear noises (of any kind) when your snake eats? If so, could you describe them, and do you know what they are? Thanks, Ben

Bones snapping and gasses being expelled from the prey as they are compressed are the most common ones I hear!

Hmm - noises are still happening with the sand boas. - No breathing tube visible. I'm not sure what the noises are. Its not when the prey is being constricted so that rules out bones breaking, its when the mouse is going in. Looks to be in conjunction with the snake breathing, but with RI how long does it take to make the snake produce mucus that is visible, and if left untreated, do the respiritory noises become louder? Thanks, Ben

Oh I do realise that, but the noises are when the mouse is inside the mouth, rather than being crushed by the intercostal muscles. Thanks tho.
