Firstly, Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new arrival, welcome to the hobby.

It wouldn't be recommended. For several reasons, if one got ill, It would be difficult to figure which of the two is, But will probably spread. In general it will be alot harder to monitor the health etc. Cannabalism is always a possibilty.

I think the bulk of the replies will be not to go ahead. Theres really no advantages to it, apart from saving a couple of inches of space and a couple of pounds. In my opinion It's really not worth it.

not advised when they are young young as they can be canablistic - once they get to about a year I'd say it would be ok but Im sure most people will advise against it. My two babies (male and female) are in separate 9l rubs at the moment as they are about 9 months old - I may house them together once they get to about a year or so but I'm undecided yet - as said before if one becomes ill then theres a good chance the other can as well! Obvious risk when housing is the possibility that the female may get gravid which is not advised when the snake is under 3ft or 300grms (about 2 1/2 to 3 years old)

Hope this helps

I would strongly recommend against housing them together once they're a year old - because the MALE will be ready to breed then... and the female will not be able to safely produce eggs. Doesn't mean she won't TRY though...

You run the risk of egg-binding, stunting your female's growth or just plain wearing her out so she doesn't recover after trying to produce eggs when she's too small to safely do so.

The female is probably not up to breeding weight so i would say no.

Also,

if one regurges it may be hard to tell which one,

illness and parasites are easily spread too, they are not soical creatures so
the only benefit is saving money on another viv, and if thats the reason for wanting to do it then, maybe get some fish

thats not the reason I'm thinking of cohabiting them at all - If I didn't have the money or the space then I wouldn't take on more animals

some people keep corns together with good results but to put two babys together wont work as they are more inclined to eat each other when young and to put male and female together is not a good idea as the male will bully the female to death trying to mate 24/7 and if to young to mate will die with blocked eggs ect
if your gonna do it get two girls and keep them apart untill they are fully grown and then try but most will still tell you its not a good idea
