12hours Darkness
Hi, snake lovers.
I keep an emerald tree boa. (see my sig, she is saying hello)
well.....according to some caresheets about etb say that the etb need 12hours darkness. (completely darkness).
Because?
They do move at night, they crawl from a tree to a tree in darkness.
They need some exercise to digest their foods. They have very slow metabolism.
At daytime, they stay at a same place all the time and no movement.
ETB start to move after you switched the light off.
By the way, My room is dark at night (from 19:00 to next 05:00.)
But not completely darkness as dark as sky without the moon. Because I do working at a desk in the same room sometimes. I switch off all lights at 2 or 3am, but until then it is a bit light every night.
She has only a few hours of completely darkness.
You mght say I should cover some towel or something on her enclosure.
What do you think?
You think I should do that?
