Oh no im not forcing them, they just wont take it themselves unless I place the food closer to their mouth & then they take a nibble, Monty constricts but Topaz is still learning, but once slightly in they start eating. Theyre just lazy like babies really...well they are babies.

Oh right, fair enough. I thought you meant like, opening their mouths (mouthes..? ) & putting the mouse in the like, pushing it down a bit.

But yeh, 'grats.

Both of mine are greedy little buggers, one had my thumb the other day when he was being too eager feeding! (I was using 12" tongs too =/)

& neither of them were particularly enthusiastic feeders when i got them..

So there's hope yet.

LOL I tried to feed my daughters cali king a few weeks ago without using tweasers & she kept striking for my hand rofl. Soon found out that my body heat weas hotter than the mouse being offered.
