Default Happy happy happy

Ok both my royals are assisted fed, take them to rep shop every sunday, but after feeding them last sunday they suggested that I try at home to assist feed them. So this morning I took Topaz out & placed him in his feeding box, warmed up fuzzie & dangled it in front of him, nope not interested. So I continued waggling the fuzzie, then after about 15 mins I decided I would try to assist feed him. So I picked up the warm fuzzie & gently opened his mouth & carefully placed the fuzzie in there, yup he clung onto it. Happy yay....
Now Monty, whilst Topaz was thinking about eating I placed Monty into another feeding container & waggled another fuzzie at him, nope he did what he always does at feeding time & curls up, so I gently uncurl him & show him the fuzzie, nope not interested so I persisted, thinking youre gonna eat it . Anyhow had enough & thought ok il place it by hand near your mouth whats he do, opens his mouth slightly, im holding the fuzzy & he constricts around my wrist. Ok Im thinking I can handle that hes got his fuzzie & me . SO whilst hes thinking about eating it Im watching Topaz to see how hes getting on, yup fuzzy slowly disapearing. Montys looking at me, im like what youre holding onto me, so I thought ok il gently un do his grip on me & place him in container. Do that & leave them both in sep containers on my bed whilst Monty starts & Topaz is sitting up & eating.

I go to feed the Gecko take her out place her in container with 3 dusted crickets & leave her there, then sons corn now she usually goes mental when it comes to feeding, & I have no problems, but today shes decided shes not eating. (No shes not shedding she did that last week) so I leave her in sealed container with fuzzie. Off to Cali King now, she hasnt eaten for over a week Place her mouse in warm water & dangle, now shes usually a fighter and grabs it then plays with it but no interest. (we think shes in shed) Ok so leave mouse in there with ehr. Off I go back to my royals & both have finished. Theyre looking towards their faunarium, so in they go. Ok back to sons room, nope corn isnt eating ok fuzzy down loo. Gecko isnt eating so back in her terrarium she goes. Back to Cali nope shes not eating so mouse down loo.

Damn this is hard work

I really wouldn't assist feed every week tbh.. It can really stress them out.

Well I spose it's up to you, but assist/force feeding is usually the very last resort, & even then only just to keep them going as doing it a lot can & probably will stress them out meaning they're not gunna want to eat on their own anyway. Have you tried live?

Congrats on the shed.
