Default Feeding chicks

at what age can you feed a D/F chick to a corn snake? ive never seen them before so dont know how big they are? what size are they in comparison to a mouse? small mouse? large mouse?

1.1.1 leopard geckos (em, marv and rob)
0.0.1 guyana pink toe tarantula
0.0.1 G. rosea
0.2 cats (dusty and blacket)
0.0.1 gold fish (bubbles)

They're about the same size and weight as a large mouse.

Only my adult corns are big enough to take them.

yeah what above said altho there abit harder for a snake to swallow as well and not as good as rats or mice

also its more the size of the snake more than age as some adult corns could be small some large ad also add some chicks are larger than an adult mouse at least wider anyhow

And when they come out the other end they stink as well. Bet you will stick to mice after you have tried chicks a few times!

damn, sum1 suggested i use one for my male corn. hes got pooing problems and apparantly they are good at helping with bowel movements. also for non feeders aswell i was hoping they would be alot smaller. also noticed how cheap they are... saw a website selling bags of 50 for like £3

but alas my corns are too young and small by the sounds of it

Try chick thighs.

They're very good for nonfeeding babies.

how do you go about gettin chick thighs? just defrost one and cut the thigh off?

I wouldn't actually defrost it first - I'd personally use scissors or a sharp knife to cut it off while the chick's still frozen.
