Default what does HET mean?

i have heard people using it after there herps....what does it mean??

It means heterozygous. Basically means it carries a gene for a different colour/pattern morph but doesn't show it visually.

Hope that makes sense lol

hetrozygous - its a genetic term for when an animal looks normal,but carries a gene to a mutation..be that a colour variant or a pattern.
like albino,axanthic hypomelanistic

it doenst always look normal, you can for instance have a caramel corn het for amel...

Meaning
Agitated.


Origin
Het is a shortened form of heated and has been used that way since the 14th century.



That simple sense of het up as heated up is first recorded in the US newspaper The Freeborn County Standard, July 1884:
"Set it right down here by the fire Susan, so 't'll get het up before you knead it into loaves."
