Default What glue???

Hi all, the background I ordered from ebay arrived today. Just want to ask what's the best way to fix it to rear of viv. I'm thinking glue but what glue would be best considering heat and humidity in viv - I also don't want any toxic fumes lingering for when I introduce my snake.

Any ideas

pritt stick.

or double sided tape

the former is what i use. solvent free, and IMO respnds well to heat. watch out, because it is washable, and may start to peel after a few monthly cleans, but i have no problems.

aquarium silicon sealant is quite good but it can be messy lol and it would need time to set. i would not use tape of any sort due to the risk of the snake getting tangled in it

I can see my getting in a right mess trying the sealant so at the moment it's looking likely to be prit stick unless any other ideas come in. Thanks guys

double sided sticky is what i used, i also purchased a staple gun (less than a tenner) and fired staples around the edges to make sure that they dont come loose.

one thing i have noticed is that every place that there is no tape has become bubbled from the heat, nothing significant but just to warn you that it may come down eventually if not secured via other means, hope that helps

I was wondering about bubbling if I used tape etc., That's why I'm thinking more towards glue and cover it all over then stick. What glue is the key as I don't want any toxic fumes in the viv. So far it's looking like the prit stick suggestion made earlier in thread

pva glue is completly non toxic, and dries clear if you smudge it etc, and you could "piant" it all over the back, good luck getting it off tho, if you ever need to
