Monty struck for his food





Oh bless him, I was doing my usual, warmed up fluff, gently shook it from the tweesers expecting to be there god knows how long, and after a couple secs he lashed out attacked the fluff, I was shocked well surprised. He took his meal & constricted around it. I went into the hall ran downstairs and said to my daughter about it, she laughed coz I was so damned excited, . Now Topsy hmm long way to go yet before he strikes rofl.

I just hope Monty keeps striking then my kids cant keep calling them "RETARDS"

First strike, had him approx 3 months now & always assist feed about month half ago he hissed at me lol but now hes taken his first strike I just hope he carries on

At the minute I leave it in there and she stares the pink out for a good 5 minutes. I think she's scared the pink will eat her, silly thing

Oh bless her. Im sorry but im so darn happy at the moment seems childish for a grown adult but hey im still a kid inside. Have you tried to gently assist her may be a step forward good luck took Monty blooming ages

I've only had her 10 days, and she's taken 2 feeds from me. I don't want to push her yet, at the minute I'm more than happy that she's eating at all

When she gets settled then I'll be like "If you don't strike you can't eat" get tough with her and then you can wait for a very similar thread
