I'd suggest a dwarf boa...crawl cays are lovely little things and get to be pretty solid. Will only reach about 3.5-4.5 foot so wont require a huge set up.

I used to have a 1.1 pair that i was going to breed but things happened and at the time breeding was not an option so i sold them...wish i still had them now mind

They can sometimes have a bit of a reputation of being snappy but i certainly didnt find that. I spent ages looking through a massive collection of them (my misses didnt want a snappy snake either) and i think out of about 20 snakes only one attempted to strike out...and he tagged me the sod
