You could try doing some actual research and realise it is not 'which one of the sexes is wrong' for breeding, it's actually the fact they are so damn hard to keep let alone breed in captivity, WC females have no issues with getting gravid or being shipped in gravid.

have you kept them then?I have friends that keep them and do research them very closely
I intend on keeping them in the future and will definately cross them

what do you know about them?

As long as wild stock is kept pure and its just a step forward in the captive breeders areana whats the real problem?
Would it be possible for the cross to be bred out?

Yes mate i have had this site in my favourirtes for some time
i am also on there forum.These are my favoured snake . many people have tried to cross them and failed ..
it could be many things .but i think its down to atmospheric preasures or something simular .they will crack it eventually

one day maybe

I thought Boelens done well in captivity - if there conditions are stable and correct.....

i was thinking 50/50 boelens carpets could be bred together a quarter would be a high percentage boelens but im not really sure

Interesting... you mean due to they naturaly occur at a high altatude? Is the problem re creating this in captivity? I find all this very interesting! Could this effect osmotic levels in the female?
