Default what sort of rat snakes are these???

i have just purchased this proven pair but im unsure of what sort of rat snake they are.

the bigger one is about 6 foot and weighs 2200g. A little overweight but at least i know its been eating lol

and out of interest how much do you think it cost for the pair?

They look like "Greenish" rats - AKA a cross between a yellow and a black - to me.

if you don't know what species they are, how do you know what temps to keep them at??

they know their rat snakes .. not really hard to get temps right isit

they look texas or crosses like texas x yellow

But saying "rat snake" is like saying "colubrid" - there are dozens of species from totally different environments and even different CONTINENTS that are called rat snakes. An Asian rat snake might have totally different care requirement to a North American rat snake.

These definitely look like North American rat snakes, and though I'm still pretty sure they're "Greenish" they could be Texas Rats.

That's like saying ''I know they're pythons...''

GTP's have completely different requirements to royals...as in much higher humidity etc...

different pythons from different locations around the world need to be kept at different temperature, different humidity levels etc etc...

Korean ratsnakes require much lower temperatures to corn snakes, for example (red ratsnakes)...

because the person i got them off obviously did know!

and if there a cross then how do you know the exact temps! there old enough to know if their gonna die from rongs temps dont you think????

i got them both for £50
