Default Heat matt question

Inside or outside a faunarium?

It seems to be struggling to bring the temps up. Also can u trim off some of the outer plastic from the edges?

Out side at the bottom i find sufficiant. I would not recommend cutting any of the plastic off though.

if you put it inside doesn't it cause fires? and isn't it more likely to burn the snake?

No it wouldn't cause fires, but you would need to cover it to stop the snake from coming into direct contact.
