Default Unusual Royal behaviour??

Just a little concern really. Colin my 07 is normally a shy guy who will hide if you look at him, but tonight he is climbing all over the viv, and up high. I have got him out and he is off everywhere whereas usually he will be still for about 10 mins before he wanders. What could be causing this activity, it's great to see him more lively but could there be a problem? He was fed on Friday.

Thanks for any advice.

I'm no good with the maturing ages in royals but if hes an early 07 it could easily make him 18 months...would this be old enough for him to start wandering a little looking for a girlie?!

Other than that check temps just in case its a little hot/cold which could mean hes looking for better temps.

Hes probably just seeking out food. Royals do tend to be active at night as do other snakes. I would seriously doubt this is a sign of sickness. My royal is frequently active in the evenings.

As long as your viv temperatures are fine I would say hes probably just out on the prowl.

Make the most of it. Hes happy so don't worry about it, Or he may be a bit randy looking for a mate. But seriously you've obviously got your husbandry right so give your self a pat on the back..

Deano....

Maybe he's just settled in... He must feel comfy or he wouldn't be out and about
