Default Bought something today.......

Multimammates..
Yep Ive decided to breed and store my own food.... Think will save some cash just not keen on killing them and after buying two females today(I know I need a male). I looked at them an nearly changed my mind. Found the thread for making a gas chamber so will build one over the weekend. The first two females bought will die of old age but the rest will stock the freezer.

Will do and post some pics of things including the setup, chamber etc.... Nearly lost one already, fly(practically) out my hands and onto the Rep room floor hiding under a tank stand. Digging its claws in the carpet when I finally reached it.

They're nippy and chewy, so make sure you're tanks/tubs are strong with nowhere for them to get their teeth in. Feed them well, make sure they always have water (easier said than done when they'll happily destroy bottles that they can get to!) and they'll do well for you. Snakes love them, and they get to a great size.

Good luck with them. I got some multis a while ago, cute little things but they chew EVERYTHING. My first litter I've bred is just getting fur now.

All sounds very good guys. Im looking forward to getting it going.. sounds like I don't play to much part in all that tho.. Just ensuring the necessary things, water food and cleaning. Do the females need greater feeding needs for nursing eg, breads, milk etc etc?
