I have no idea how big these get to on average but I'm think that viv is too small. The 2ft cube is definitely too small. You need to be able to achieve a temp gradient and I personally don't think you can in these sized vivs. I could be wrong though

My 1st choice is will give me a similar amount of space (a lil bit more) then a 45x45x65 exo terra, so i was guna set it up similar to one of those....bulb/ceramic/heat mat at the top, on a stat. and as the viv is taller i thought you'd get about the right temps,

90f basking area an an over all temp of around 83f??

As I say, I don't know how big these get and I don't know their requirements. If you have a basking temp at 90 and an ambient temp of 83, surely you still need a cool end for this species. I could be wrong, but I thought a temp gradient went across the board for all snakes. In a small viv, in my experience, you can't achieve a decent temp gradient.

Ive never kept them before so just been reading up the last few days , from what ive read a overall temp of around 83f seems to work well with this species. I understand where your coming from and its been a concern for me, im just guna keep reading up, and reading up, im sure ill find a suitabe viv size, i have the outside of the viv built just not the inner vivs, (guna be 4 side by side) although i could make them bigger hand have just 3, i was planning of finishing it today, but that myt not happen lol

I would make them bigger. This is nothing to do with the snake now. But I personally would have them bigger because you never know what you might want to put in there. If you have them smaller, it limits your options if you want to put something else in.

Yea true, one was planned for an adult amazon, but im not getting an adult atm, more likely to get a baby lol, i was just wondering if it would suit an adult,

I think ill make 3 vivs and a small shelving area, for rubs etc

I'd be interested to know the size requirements as well. I've never really taken much notice of the tree boas so know very little about them but after a visit to Gaz's and seeing a few pics on here i'm interested to know more.

Sorry to go a little off topic but do you have some good links for them, particulary showing the differences between them all?

I've seen people mentioning Atb's, Etb's, different colour phases etc etc...
