my boy loves the bath, but with it being luke warm water he tends to leave me a little present, try explainin that to the OH!!! incidentally, i try to let my boa have a soak when in shed, but she hates the water! is this common?

Though I agree with all that I wouldn't call them semi-aquatic. The ability to stay submerged for a period of time or hunting on the banks of a river doesn't make them so to me *shrugs*. I guess it's all how you look at the term. I guess I don't see them as being any more aquatic than most terrestrial snake species from their type of environment. They all like to sit in water when shedding etc. For me a snake deemed as semi aquatic would have to spend a huge proportion of it's life under-water or in it.....like the 'condas.

ok an everglades burm may never in its entire life set its metaphorical feet on dry land it eats, sleeps, and c**p's in water. how do you class that then, is it not semi aquatic? if not fully aquatic?
