alot of it depends on what your after???
If you want to breed then yes.. after a certain age.. in my experience it helps it the male is older than the female i.e female 3 male 4 that had the best results for me!!

Agreed, it depends on why you would want to keep them together?
Is it to breed?...or just because you're trying to save on money and space?? Personally I see no benefit to the actual snakes, being housed together... If you were to cohabit them...ensure the female/s are of breeding weight and condition...as males mature faster than females and you may well end up with a gravid female well before her time...which can and will cause complications such as egg binding or even death. Many females which breed early are left unable (or unsuitable) to breed again, and are often stunted in growth... I have kept adult royals together, back in the day when I was told by reptile 'specialists' it would be absolutely fine etc...and wasn't made aware of any of the dangers... I only keep together for breeding purposes now...and seperate once the season is over... Yes...many people keep snakes together...whether it is right or not, is another issue... Yes...many of those people will tell you they've never had any problems...but then; problems don't happen until they happen! Some of the very same people that once cohabited will also tell you that they woke up one morning to find one or both of their snakes dead...or completely out of the blue one tried to eat the other...so on and so forth. It's one of those things I guess...'it won't happen to me'...and when it does, people realise that if their snakes had been kept seperate full stop...it completely elliminates any problems...so why not just simplify things? Personal choice really...if you read, realise and understand all of the complications which can and may occur when cohabiting...and still decide to do it...then fair enough, that is your choice... But I also think that constant vigilance is a must... And if you're getting a new snake to put in with and old one...or even two new snakes....Remember you'll need two vivs regardless...in order to quarantine them... The last thing you want is one snake getting sick because the other one was also sick, and little or poor quarantine/hygeine methods were in place...that's just not fair on the snakes... Hope this helps some what...
