Default Genetics and breeding

I asked earlier about breeding and the results. I did hear that breeding sibling would not result in genetic deformation. I also heard that spider royal have some freaky head shaking going on and there's no reason for ir. Nor is there a cure for it.

I was also told that pie bald python do not appreciate UVB light one bit. My snake thrives on it so I don't know. As discussed earlier, what is that infra red bulkb like compared to the plain red bulb?

Hi all,

I know there is debate going on at the moment about UV with snakes, some snake need it but in the right amount, too strong and over time it can make them go blind.

I don't use UV on my royals, I know they live down tunnels in the wild, but they do come into daylight to warm up so do get UV.

At the moment I am on the fence about UV.

The problem with the spider royals is called spinning, I belive it is a nurological problem, so don't have it and others do to some degree.

I would never buy one, and don't think they are very special morph.
