don't worry bjherp, it seems that snakelover has trouble reading posts properly on here, that or he/she doesn't always read what he/she doesn't like. But hey.

AFAIK this is the highest price openly commanded by any snake so far.

If Black Eyed Leucys are 2 grand then why the hell are albinos still a grand and a half!? *annoyed with Albino breeders!*

You might have missed a couple of zeroes there...

The first black-eyed leucistic was two hundred and fifty thousand dollars (priced). As in "A quarter of a million".

A HET black eyed leucistic ("Fire" ball) is going for five to seven and a half grand (males being cheaper) in the States, give or take... you'd still need two in order to get a BEL, and you've only got a one in four chance of it when you've got an adult pair.

By comparison, a visual albino is pretty cheap - $1,500 on one of the first three sites I looked at. A few hundred for a pair of hets.
