as long as the snake is eating it should be fine now that you actually mention shedding it can take a little while but dont worry when the snake turns pale and the eyes cloud over it will shed its skin within the next 7 days....
Hope this helps a little

He should shed roughly once a month as a hatchling. He'll go dark, his eyes will blue over, then go clear again a few days later. Once his eyes clear he should shed within 3-4 days. If he has retained shed, then you can give him a warm bath and gently peel off any remaining shed.
If he's underweight try offering double the amount of food you have for a couple weeks. So, if he's feeding on small mice, try offering 2 instead of one. Don't over do it though! over feeding can lead to health problems. Doing it for a few weeks won't do any harm though.

Rather amusing that you call yourself snake master and then ask questions like that, 1st, if the royal is havin problems shedding then i would suggest higherin the humidity and once he does start to shed let him do it alone. If the shed is a bad one you can put him in a luke warm bath of very lightly soaped water and then pick him up with a towel and let him slithre thru to dispose of any un wanted skin What are you feeding him and how often |

You say it has been eating normally, but is that for you or is that what you were told when you bought it? With regard to the shedding, the frequency of shedding is higher in young snakes as they are growing more quickly but it is also very dependent on level of food intake and on any external parasite (mites/ticks) or skin damage. I have had several problems with snakes shedding over the years, if I notice a snake is having recurring problems I tend to put a moss box into it's viv and keep that sprayed constantly and then when the snake enters its slough cycle I usually spray the viv heavily on a daliy basis to increase the humidity in the general area. Hope this helps, Kind Regards, Mike.

Thank you everyone.
I just try to feed him but he wouldn't eat. First time he's ever done that. Shall i force feed him or just give him another day or so? BTW when he curles up, he looks very crusty and wrinkly from the side. Expecially his kneck, is this normal? What should his humidity be like? How many times should i spray him? Do you also think with his condition i should change is tempreture at all? Thank you, SnakeMaster.
