Default Pinky problems

Hello there,

I was just abou tto feed my baby corn yesterday and i noticed on the pinkys mouth there was white spots liek ulcers.

This liek frost bite or something? anything to worry about

As Guy says there's nothing to wory about. Most pinkies are sold with freezer burn. It becomes less prevelent (or noticeable) as the food size increases.

Its already been said, but yes, its more than likely freezer burn. Try to keep them in an airtight container/packet and it should help avoid it.

They only get freezer burn if they've been in the freezer for ages and ages in a non-airtight container. Get fresher pinkies and make sure you put them in something like a zip-seal bag

Think as long as the item has been frozen, any nasties that it might be would be dead anyway. I think! And hope!!

Yeh, though freezer burn just shows that it's been in the freezer too long and nutrients are starting to sap out

What is it when you get a small pinkie thats really black? That just the blood or stomache? Should you avoid those ones?
