lol, that's a good sign!! usually when i get tagged it's when i am feeding, only once has it happened without food being present, but that was also my fault.. One went round the back of the sofa, and i was very new to reptiles at the time, and i put my hand down probably a bit too quick,and the snake striked on instinct.. taught me a lesson anyway.

I suppose it was my own fault too. She was resting against the glass on the front of the viv and i slid the door open....BANG!

Never had any reason to be wary around her, she used to eat from a plate, but now she strike feeds.

Still not as scary as the wee corn though, he is pure evil at feeding time!!

I would certainly try her on something bigger if you can, as you said she is obviously hungry now and this may be the time to get her onto something with more goodness, try a rat weaner to begin with see if she likes them, if you can get homebred then even better as they are usually better quality but be prepared once she has tasted homebred she may not want to go back to shop bought, we know how fussy royals are don't we

Thanks for the advice. can you recommend a supplier? got rooked last saturday at my local petshop and no longer in contact with previous supplier.

Yeah she is clearly starving, a remarkable turnaround from before, im soooooo happy! Finally she has settled in....only took 6mths!

awww ty! Posted a thread in feeder the other day about how much i was charged at my local
