Well done dude....rep fromme for this.
One other thing tho...dont indulge non-feeders/fasters. I fell into the trap of offering food almost every day. it turns feeding time into a game for the snake, and it is you who ends up frustrated while they fanny around not eating. Only offer once a week, unless the situation os getting really dire. Well done again...cracking post ![]() |

One tip that has worked for me ...
Take some dirty bedding from your breeder mice / rats and put it in the corner of the vivatium. The smellier and more wee'd on the better. Then put the food near the bedding. The theory is that the snakes thinks it has come across a mouse nest, gets all excited by it's discovery and eats the mouse you have left nearby.

nice thread, and a valuble resource.
but. LIVE FEEDING IS PERFECTLY LEGAL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, AS LONG AS IT IS IN PRIVATE. also, putting a live rat/mouse in a tub/container and leaving it with the snake helps. i did this with my royal, then offered a warm ft, and it fooled him into thinking it was the one inside the tupperware. it scared the rat a lttle, but nothing a choc drop didnt make her forget
