Some snakes are slow eaters and just like to eat in their own time in private and will never strike. your snake is perfectly normal
thanks very much for the info. what about when he gets bigger and we move him onto fuzzies? will the fur not irritate him if he takes the food backwards?

you may find as he moves up he will start to take head first, although I have one on large mice who still eats bum first and it does not seem to bother her in the slightest, so again I would not worry, he will work out whats right for him.

The gerbil was massive, heiry and stinky. Biggest piece of food she's ever eaten

I placed an order with Camzoo today.

25 jumbo mice
25 large weaner rats
25 small rats

It cost me £ 57.00 + £ 4.95 P&P = £ 61.95

I'm well please because if I bought the same thing in my local shop it would have cost me twice as much.
