right I just picked up my Brazilian rainbow boa this afternoon and shes a right bitey little thing im sure she will calm down once shes settled, but I got her out to put her into her new tank and she bit my mum on the finger and snapped at everyone in sight, I put her into her tank, and shes only snapping at the glass, needless to say I have named her snappy

Kings can be biters if they think you are or have food.

I've heard at least one story about kings trying to eat non-food items, most notably someone's coffee cup.

Some of the rat snakes can be a bit whippy-nippy too.
