Default Tiny Boa's in Exeter

Could I just ask what everyones problem is with Tiny boa,s in Exeter? Im completely unrelated to the last 3 owners, Duncan, Steve and now Jason and have only dealt with them as a customer.

Out of the 3 Jason has given me the most advice and help and to be honest has bent over backwards to help out. Steve was a waste of space and quite rude. Duncan before him only wanted to speak to customers who were experienced and spending shed loads of money.

When I got my 2 hermans from south west reptiles I only got 1 cites?? and when i kept going in and asking for the other I got nowhere. The shop was always cluttered and unwelcoming.

Now the shop and the staff are welcoming and well stocked If they havent got it then they will get it for you. I have been given advice by jason that has put the shop out of pocket. Thats putting your customers first.

Good ridance southwest reptiles and welcome tiny boa's is what i say.

I second that mate well said the trouble with people on here is there to quick to judge! Jason is trying to turn a crap shop into a good one that doesnt happen or night.
I have had dealings with Jason only a couple of time (don't drive so to far away) He was welcoming, honest, and knows what he is talking about his wife is a vet and she is aslo a herp vet,so imo u couldn't get a better backup service if needed. If people stop judging books by there covers and stop to ask they will find Jason and his team a great help

Is Jason the guy thats in there now?

I went in on Sunday and if thats Jason then he was fab . We had a good natter about tortoises, I had a lovely hold of the little leopard tort in there (already have 2 so didn't need to buy another!)

When I visited the same shop a while ago the man in there put me off owning a corn. He got one out and was showing me how wonderful it was at striking at his finger. Really put me off. The shop was cluttered and smelly and not welcoming at all.

However, now it's clean, clear and the 2 members of staff I delt with were very good. The changes have been very positive.

Jason is the guy in there now and im a good judge of character, the advice he has given me has actually put the shop out of a bit of profit but he's given me the best advice.

What more could you ask for in customer service???

I cant believe all of the threads that slag the place off? I went in there when it first changed hands and to be honest there wasnt alot in there, but I think people have to bear in mind that he had to start again from scratch.

Its fair enough to warn people of bad experiences and stuff, but all of the critism hasnt been constructive at all. Not enough people pass on a good experience so i though i would.

I completely agree.

Jason was a complete gentleman to me, asking after my family (as I had my toddler with me and am quite obviously pregnant again), he gave me good advice on both sides of the substrate debate with leos, he gave me his wifes number for the vets in crediton as she is VERY knowlegable on herps, and took everything my dad said to him on board when he pointed out that one of his horned frogs was incorrectly labled, he admitted frogs werent his strong point.......

Honest guy, and considering he has had to take on a shop with a reputation of being smelly, dark, dirty with staff that are unhelpful and sometimes rude, I think they have done a fab job!

His animals look healthy, the tanks and vivs are clean, and he had a decent amount of stuff in there, prices are pretty good too.

Ill be back there x
