u should only need a matt at night, coz if u have a bright light on 24/7 the snake has no day/night relation and it will stress the snake out really bad, i am just going to us ea heat matt with my BRB but they are going in tubs. it should be fine mate and u have got a stat aswell, so there should be no probs.

I don't like bulbs with rainbows, they dry out the air.

Well set it up before you get them and take regular measurements for a few days.
It might well be fine. My BRBs were kept in plastic boxes with heat mats, never tried anything else, worked so well I had no need to.

ok i will admit i have chianged my mind on BCI's but i did make a big thread about which to choose, and chose BRB, because i prefer them and have wanted one for ages. Ackies, i may still get one. Albino Royals i am getting still. BTW i have loads of viv space, and i mean loads. And more to come

Dude why don't you do what i do and use a 150W Exo Terra Infrared Heat Glo Bulb and that heats the tank perfectly and is controlled by a habistat dimmer and is fine for both day and night time use
Get some pics up of this "awsome set-up"

Pic of Bulb:

P.S My viv measures 4x2x2 (lxhxw)
