Default gtp substrate??????????

just wanted to know if pine bark is ok to use with gtp's???????????

I believe that pine is toxic to snakes. It would probably be less of a problem for gtp’s bearing in mind that they’ll spend most of their time not in contact with the substrate…but I’d still opt for some other type of substrate.

Orchid bark or eco earth are good. For my adults i use bioactive soil in a naturalistic environment as this means i dont have to clean the whole lot out all the time

All of the above holds humidity well and does well for GTPs
