Default confused at some terms used when talking about snakes

i have noticed when some of you talk about snakes you use 0.1 or 1.3...

eg. 0.1 normal royal..

what does this mean?

The sex of the animal e.g 1.2.3 would mean 1 male, 2 female and 3 unsexed.

0 means none eg 1-0-2 would be 1 male, no female, 2 unsexed

Well without distinguishing with 0. or 0.0 before the number everything would be thought of as male, as male is the first point.

Lol, just think about it for a second.
You can't have no 2nd or 3rd point without something before...
