Me and my partner have a garter snake and my partner has had it for about 9 years or so and when he can to live with me i noticed it had what looked like a tiny rice crispy on the top of its body. We never thought much of it, just thought it was a defect in the snakes scales (this was about 6 years ago). I looked at the snake yesterday and was shocked to notice this was now massive and really risen, i have also noticed he now has one underneath between his scales. I am taking him to the vets on friday, but just wanted to know what people thought?? The reason i thought it was he scale to begin with was because it seemed to be orange, just like his scale. Can any tell me anything? Many Thanks Jo
