I normally wait 48 hours too - though my royal always loves to come out so if the meal hasn't been in particularly big I might let her out earlier. All the others I leave - don't want to cause an accidental regurge.

Leave it till its had a dump. Mine had a pretty large mouse on Saturday and its still definately there, so i'm leaving him be!

i'd say 2 days, or 48hrs or 2880 minutes or 172800 seconds,

But to be honesty as long as the visable lump has gone then you could handle after 24 -36hrs, but this would only be if it was absolutely nessasary.
