Leave it until it has digested it's dinner, I never handle mine for 3 days after eating at least and feed about every 6 days. If they get stressed they can still regurge after 2 days and that is very stressful for a hatchling.

i put 36 hours, what i really wanted to put is at least 48 hours and i case of boa 72 hours.
any hadling after a feed can disrupt digesgion and worst case would make the snake regurgitate.
why create a routen for a snake that does not understand and will certainly not get used to a routen - they eat and hunt on instinct - routen is a human concept.

Good advice (for a colubrid). This way you, your clothes, your furnishings etc. don't get dirty.
Graham.
