Do people use substrates in their corn tubs? I have the 50l RU boxes, and have got paper as a bottom lining, though i`ve seen a lot of people don`t use any substrate in their tubs and just have them in the tubs.....whats recommended?

i would always use substrate, even if it is newspaper, kitchen role or you could use aspen etc. it makes life a whole lot easier when cleaning the viv out, not to mention the benefits to the snake.

In tubs defo newspaper for adults, or aspen, for younger definately kitchen roll or newspaper. some people put snakes in empty tubs just to feed or take pics of them; they might be the pics youre thinking off.

you can use any of the substrates available on the market, i personally use goldchip or paper, the only time i dont use anything is in the feeding tubs, but snakes are never in them that long.
