The super basic setup we sell is...

1 x Flat Faunarium
1 x Aspen bag (although kitchen towel is fine)
1 x Hide
1 x Water Bowl
1 x Small Heat Mat.

If you want to be sure of the temperautres you can also add a Mat Stat although if you go for a basic setup like the one above, the stat will almost double the price.

You can add leaves or climbing apparatus, and of course you will need pinkies for food.

Which should NOT be even considered to be optional.

Corns need a basking spot no warmer than ninety degrees fahrenheit.

A heat mat, without thermostatic regulation, will easily top 100 degrees.

This can brain damage the snake - if it has to choose between "Too hot but I can digest" and "too cold, my food will rot in my gut" ... it's a bad choice and some snakes WILL addle themselves.

Regulating the heat output of your heating equipment NEEDS to be done.

Stats are essential, id of thought a shop owner would of know that! A matt without a stat can fry a corn.

So why are you using it?

I use heatmats to warm up defrosted rodents and they get f*****g hot if they are on full in a room that already has a reasonably high air temperature.

STATS - NOT OPTIONAL
