Default Granite Motley?

Does anyone have any pics of know any people in the UK keeping / breeding granite motleys?

I was thinking about next year, and I have an adult granite male, and an adult anery motley female.

I can assume.. that if I bred those together I would get 100% anery, het bloodred het motley offspring.

Then if I bred 2 x offspring together I would have a small chance (6%?) of hitting the tripe anery blood motley? ie. granite motley?

To know if it's worth adding it to the "5 year plan", I would like to see some pics or know who's doing it first though.. haven't seen it talked about at all, don't know why ,granite is a very pretty colouration really.

Seems like a fairly simple mix so just wondering why we don't see more of them around? I know it's a triple trait but there are things like snow and ghost motley which is a triple trait and pretty common these days. Is it just that they're not that popular?

To be honest blood mots/granite mots/fire mots etc are a bit pointless IMO. They loose the pattern as they mature. With blood based corns its all about the diffusion. A granite stripe project may be more worth your while?

Unfortunately, I don't have any stripes in my collection and I was really just looking at what I can do what what I already have.. and not starting something that I need to buy hatchlings and work from the ground up on.

So blood type motleys don't have the same patterning as other morphs?

Blood motleys are what you would expect, diffused sides, connected motley saddles although it turns into sort of banding as the diffusion slowly creeps up (if you know what I mean)

here you go:

Hmm, well those look pretty nice to me

I've got 2 big motley virgin females (500+) who probably won't give me big clutches though as it's their first next year.. I was so busy this year, and I couldn't decide what to do with them, that I decided to do nothing..

So I've got

0.1 Anery Motley
0.1 Ghost Motley

Of my males.. I've got

Granite or Snow Stripe free...

Which would you use? I was going to do granite x anery motley, and snow stripe x ghost motley
