Doesn't look like an Everglades Rat Snake, they are a brighter orange in colour. Baird's most likely IMO

I'll throw in a vote and say it definitely looks like there is SOME Everglades or Yellow rat in there... but I don't think that's ALL it is.

If I had to hazard a guess, it could be Everglades X Black Rat or Everglades X Texas Rat....

Doesn't look like a Bairdi to me at all. No silvery-grey scales, no orange interstitial skin... it's deep in shed and it looks a LOT like my older Everglades did when he was in shed.

It is most definately not a Bairds to all you who said it was... I tend to agree with Ssthisto on this one. It's either an Everglades or a very dark Yellow rat. Most Everglades have Yellow blood in them now anyways. I'd lean more to the Everglades, but even in shed you can tell its not a Bairds, theres no blue-grey flecking to the scales...

I reckon it's a yellow rat snake.

The stripes look black and the dull yellow could be because of shedding and the fact that some of the saddles have been retained.

Yeah, was thinking more Yellow after I had already posted... But even Everglades can retain some saddling. Mine's 10 years old now and look at the picture...
