Default Breeding KSBs

Do ksbs need to be cycled into breeding? Like cooled off and stuff? 'Guy in the shop' said they need it, but a book i have says it isnt required. Is it an easy thing to do or a difficult affair. When should they be put together and when does the season end?

Thx in advance

I think as with many snake species, brummation helps the breeding process, but is not always a neccessity. I have no specific knowledge to sand boas though, maybe PM Sshisto, she recently had some hatchlings and if she didn't breed them herself I think she will know who did, and may be able to give you more info.

Lol no myself and Ssthisto bought our female gravid. However I have heard it doesn't matter if you cool or not and I know I probably won't be cooling my younger female when it comes time for her to breed unless its proven you DO need to cool them.

So with them not needing the cooling, is it possible to breed them at any time of year? Or is there a set time when they're more 'in the mood' ?
