Rules are sketchy anyway Rule I heard and liked the sound of for boas was length + width = snake length. Mainly because they're such a thick snake. I prefer keeping my 2 6'-7' females together in a 6.5x2x2. Gives em a chance to fully, or nearly fully stretch out if they wanna, but 4x2x2 should be fine individually.

Well my male has been in a 6x2x2 since he was 2ft long and he has always been fine. I know its not the same for every snake but I dont think I could ever keep a boa in a viv where the length + width was smaller than the snakes length.
