Firstly, welcome to RFUK. No, I am not gay or transvestite, or sumin but thanks for the interest. Good luck finding your Kingsnake.

Jimmy, (The happily married father of 2!)

Needless to say I have bought a new tank for him as it is still a mystery to how he got out.
well thinking of renaming my sunglow corn houdini because she has escaped 3 times over the past year, but luckily I find her everytime.......she must think were playing some game of hide and seek....and everytime she gets out i have no idea how she has done it. any idea's how a snake can escape from a faunarium, then a tank with a secure lid and now a 2ft wooden viv with a lock on the front?

all well and good my friend a truly genious contraption. however i have a 6 1/2 ft retic on the loose opened the glass and off it went do you have any ideas as its been out for around a week and other than a few things knocked off the shelf in next doors pet shop (hamster and small rodents section would you belive lol) there has been no sign. i know it cant be far but its proving harder to find than you would think.

Does this trap seriously work?

We lost our corn the other week (he's about 3 months old), he was in a plastic tub with taped down lid inside a viv with sliding glass doors. We found him a week later - in the viv which we had virtually turned upside down looking for him.

Call your local council and tell them that you have got a problem with rats, or squirrels, they will offer you a trap to use, these traps are one of the best ive seen and are perfect for catching snakes in. Also they never tend to ask for the trap back either!!!
