Yes, people can and do
although 25 foot is rare to non-existant.

If you feed them like a pig.

Any way my retic has settled in so nice, I can't believe i have her now, her colours are truly stunning. I'm so happy, I keep going upstairs and having a quick peak at her.

I can't wait to start getting her out.

25ft is very rare. Yes people can and do. I got them because they're my favourite snake and I get more enjoyment from dealing with the large constrictors. My 12+ years of snake keeping have been a pre-cursor to keeping retics. Now I have them I find they're greater to own than i first thought they would be.

20ft isnt an especially unusual size, i suppose it is compareble to a 9ft boa big but not that rare

people feed them too much and they die before hitting really big sizes. wild 25 footers are very old and in good health heart wise. too many times in captivity, they grow too fast and get fat related issues.
