Default corn snake colours

i've got a female amber and a female caramel.
what would be the best colour male to put with them?
i do not want to produce normals.
i have a snow male corn -what would i get if i put him with either of them?

Depending on whether or not they have any known hets, the only way of guaranteeing non normals is to put them both to either a caramel or amber male. Putting them to a snow you would get normals het amel, anery and caramel, and with the amber also het hypo.

you cant really say what the outcome would be unless you know their hets, if they dnt have any hets then they will just produce normals.

eh? i dnt understand.

If you put an anery to an anery your going to produce anerys lol if you put anything else together if you dnt know the hets you could end up with all normals..

i know this but i have been told that i can put snow with an amel and i will either get snow or amels. is this true ?

can i put an amel female with anything other than a male amel ?

can i put an anery female with anything other than a male anery ?

is there anywhere i can look this up to learn about it ?

any help appreciated,

To get anything other than normals you need to breed them to someting that has the same genes.

If you bred them both to a butter male you'd get all caramels het amel; in addition the ones from the amber will be het hypo. If you are lucky the females might be carriers of amel anyway... in which case you might be lucky enough to get butters...

A hypo put to the amber will make all hypos het caramel.

I would not use the anery or the snow personally... you will get all normals.

hypo is short for hypomelanistic - reduced black pigment...

If you breed an amel to a snow you're guaranteed to get all amels because snow is made up of two ingredients.. anery and amel.
