Default Peoples opinions on these snakes for a beginner

Afternoon Guys
Iv looked through the sticky at the top about the best snakes for beginners and I have list of a few i like.Iv done a little re-search on each but was hoping if there is anyone on here who has kept these snakes could give me there opinions on them?

1) Egg Eating Snake (I know i would have to source the egss from somewhere)
2) Hognose
3) Milk Snake
4) King Snake
5) Royal Pythons

Also Corn snakes but my sister has one so I know what they are like
Just looking for what people generally think they are like to own, also if people wouldnt mind letting me know what size viv they are keeping their adults in that would be great too

Many Thanks
p.s pic would be great aswell

hognoses are great little snakes full of character, and could live in a 2ft by 18 by 18inch cage

milk snakes also very nice snakes, but can be very secretive and shy, i would recommend honduran milks, from my experiance not as shy, cage size, 3ft by 18 by 18

royal pythons are great snakes, can be fussy feeders, but are generally docile and nice snakes, cage size a 3ft by 18 by 18 will do an adult royal,

king snakes can be a little more bitey than milks or corns and are also known for being canibalistic, they come in many different colour morphs etc and can be very nice snakes, again a 3ft would do

i've never kept egg eaters so can't help you with them

I think many people have started off with the species you have outlined;

It's all about picking the right specimen after endless research, a Royal for example, you want to source a good, quality CB specimen that is feeding well.

With regards to Egg Eating Snakes, they aren't commonly seen, and if I'm not mistaken I think the majority are wild-caught?

But they are often offered quail eggs in captivity - available from a few supermarkets etc.

I don't have any experience with Kings, Milks or Hognoses so I can't comment on them.

i had a blizzard corn, beutiful as adults but i'm not a fan of the babies, there almost pink, i also have striped corns, and they are by far in my opinion the nicest looking corns in my collection,

In my personal opinion i would go for a King, spoilt for choice morph wise and the getulas especially have a wicked personality

Heres a wee link for you to check out all the Kings and Milks
