What is(was) your toughest snake to keep in your life???

To me, Timor python....

She was stubborn. never accepted my feeding.

And never stopped attempting escaping.

sccattering pee on my lap...

She made me sicko...

The second goes to my Northen typed whitelipped python..

Just he makes me scared.. He is like a mental [psychiatric] patient.

mine has to be my female childrens python, not husbandry wise etc, but she wont eat on her own, i have to put the mouse half way in her mouth, and then she eats, and also in a typical 1/2 an hour handling space, she would bite me between 30 and 50 times!!! she isnt the friendliest snake!!
and she a bit of an escape artist, so she has a tub, inside another tub, inside the rack all this and she is a 10 inch snake

Mine has to be our Royal python, bought 7 years ago as a hatchling, didn't eat, had a really bad R.I, ticks, mites and he had to be force fed for over a year of his life.
He's now 7 and can still be a funny eater, doesn't like to be looked at or held..lol
We just leave him alone to do his thing apart from feeding/cleaning out and he seems happy enough. Any more than that and he goes on hunger strike grrrrr.

I had a pair of Western Coachwhips about 15 years ago,WC and just never let up with serious aggression, never seen anything like it since.Currently my Southern Scrub python is a total pain in the arse,10ft long, bites anything within range and once you do manage to get past his teeth, once on a hook he liberally sprays musk without warning.Great snake though...

There are two i have absolutely no luck with.

First are the Pseudoxenodon, great snakes but i am missing something in their care and they suffer as a result. I will figure out what i am missing though and keep trying.

Secondly, my nemesis. The Moelendorfs ratsnake. No matter what i do i just can't keep them alive. They are my favourite "normal" ratsnake by far but when they are with me it just never works. I have all but given up on them, i might get some again one day but it certainly isn't something i'm planning any time soon.
