Default Need Help Asap Please :'(

i have a common corn she is 4 years of age and is currently thrashing around her tank and biting herself she seems to be out of her mind she is normally a very calm and gentle snake any ideas on how i can help her please :'(

I assume she's being fed right

Hmm, when was the last time she was fed? If so, is she being fed enough? I've heard that hunger can bring on an over-stimulated feeding response and will bite anything.

At worst, it may well be internal parasites tickling the nerves. As they're potentially fatal, a trip to the vets may well be in order.

Get her to the vets mate, a friend of mine a few years back had a king snake doing the same thing.. turned out it had some sort of brain tumour

i've heard of this a couple of times, we all thought that it could smell prey on it's scales so it was thrashing trying to reach it. every time i've heard of this it calms down within 24 to normal behaviour.

i would go to a vet who specialises in herps, rather than a naff one who done no anything

so sorry to hear that..

it does sond like she may have had some sort of seizure, and there may well have been nothing you could have done to help..

at least you tried tho, in that at least you came and asked..

again, commiserations..
