well you can always get a nice big well made viv were he can live the rest of his days could be 6 months could be 10 years! its all you can do, feed him more of smaller items (rats which have been defrosted in a bag to keep the smell in) rats are better than rabbits in my oppinion and just take it steady, plenty of water with some nutrients in and once he has eaten then you can start thinking about vitimins and things, give him plenty of hides to feel sucure and just work at it! good luck with it mate and as soon as you post some pictures people can then give you some more pointers!

but as for things for him to hide in..... well i dont quite have something for an 8 foot boa to hide in at the moment, and i know his tank is 2 small for him so he is usually always out but ill keep trying thanks to everyone again

Hi, Not kept boids in a few years but think it'll be off its food cos its prob not warm enough, new enviroment and feelin insecure as prev said. Need to have option to bask at 90f. Dont know what that is in new money-30-32 suspect. If 'out' means room temp its too cool an food requirements/ appetite stunted. Afraid to say new viv required. As said lots of hides, space then once settled offer more easily didested food. (i prefer rats). Wish you luck

If that animal is in fact 20 years of age and in the condition you suggest then its very likely he has had a full life. Not very positive I know, but its something that inevitable for all creatures.
